Our Service Department is growing, and we are seeking to add an extraordinary new technician to our team. Your role will be to maintain, repair, and install residential irrigation systems.

Job Duties:

Troubleshoot, service, and repair residential irrigation systems
Make recommendations for continuous improvement, and be actively involved in solution identification and implementation
Provide unmatched customer service by communicating with the customer in a professional manner
Communicate and be responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance
Use a tablet to complete work orders, create estimates, and call customers on a daily basis

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

Good communication skills, both verbally and through using technology
Ability to work independently, with good time management
Demonstrate problem solving skills and critical thinking on a mechanical level
Must possess a desire for continual learning and continuous improvement, personally and professionally
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required
Available for over-time during peak seasons (Spring and Fall)

Required Education:

High school or equivalent

Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial irrigation systems
Assist in the leading and development of service technicians of varying skill levels
Effectively communicate with department managers
Use a tablet to navigate through jobs

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience working on residential and commercial irrigation systems
Understanding of two wire electrical and how to repair
Understanding of irrigation design and ability to estimate work for the customer
Must be able to repair and test backflow preventers
Must have experience working with lake pumps

Work with a team to complete high quality projects, efficiently
Provide unmatched customer service by communicating with the customer in a professional manner
Maintain vehicle and equipment inventory by using a tablet to communicate and log information

We’re seeking Lawn Care Technicians who enjoy working independently, solving problems, pleasing customers, and new challenges!

Lawn Care Technicians at Fairway Lawns are responsible for beautifying our customers’ properties by providing environmentally responsible lawn treatments using state-of-the-art technology, products, and equipment. Armed with the latest industry knowledge about lawn care and a desire to please customers, our Technicians also have the opportunity to diagnose and resolve a variety of turf, weed, and shrub problems for our customers. The ideal candidate is independent, confident, organized, efficient, attentive to details, and customer-oriented. Also has good time management skills and ability to work independently.

Position Requirements

Willingness to work outdoors independently with minimum supervision
Able to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodation
Good verbal and written communication skills
Some Saturday hours
Must be at least 21 years of age – Acceptable Driving Record, No DUIs
Background Check Required
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and D.O.T. Physical
Preferred candidates will have lawn care/landscaping or golf course maintenance experience

We Offer:

A good starting salary; Commensurate upon experience. Salary range of position: $36,400.00 to $52,000.00
Up to $4,000 signing bonus based on experience running a lawn care route applying fertilizer and weed control applications
